About me

For as long as I can remember I have been making, playing, recording and living music. I’m a self taught guitarist and ever learning singer/songwriter whose aim in life is to create music for the benefit of others. I strongly believe that music, in any shape or form has the ability to help and guide people in anyway they want it to, It’s just a case of opening your ears and you heart, then the music should do the rest.

  I have been in bands and playing gigs since my school days, and from there, with time and determination I have progressed into a professional musician. Working with different bands over the years, singer/songwriter/guitarist for power trio Smooth Roscoe & the Goo, rhythm guitar for Welsh band Amledd, with Billy Thompson on ‘wild’ Violin. Also played lead guitar for another welsh band, Owain Llyr’s, Dailgwair, I have gained a lot of experience from this and am fully committed to making a career as a self titled, self published musical artist.

  I am currently recording and producing my debut album, ‘Raw Blues’ to be released on CD and download this summer. You can hear some of the album tracks in my music page. As a solo artist I don’t have a set band, instead I am slowly building an army of very talented musicians to work with in terms of gigging and recording.   To put it one way, I am starting my own business, in which will contain a record label, recording studio and publishers. Point being, to cut out the middle man and not get chewed up and spat out by the money driven record companies, and lose everything you gave them. As is true with most businesses, it will be a struggle to start off with, but with enough hard work, effort and belief anything is possible.

  In the mean time I shall be recording my album and playing gigs, where and when I can. Make no mistake, I have a guitar and a voice and I’m going to use them.
